Description

A meeting of ISA Gautam Budh Nagar branch was held at PGICH, Noida on 13/11/2024 from 5:10 pm to 6:15 pm presided by Dr Mukul Jain (Vice president) ISA Gautam budh Nagar.
The meeting was attended by the following members.

The session began with an introduction of all the esteemed members.
1. Dr Subrat Dam deliberated on the theme & topics of the upcoming ISA sponsored CME scientific programme to be held in the month of february.
2. Dr. Dam introduced the theme planned for the upcoming ISA-UP CME planned on 15th and 16th Feb 2025. The theme will be "Anaesthesia for Obstetric and Neonatal Care". Numerous topics included high risk obstetric cases, obstetric patients for non obstetric surgeries, transition from fetal to neonatal life, surgeries in fetus and newborn, medical emergencies in obstetric patients etc.
3. Dr Kapil informed the house that in view of the fixed ISA guidelines to be followed for every conference, 6 sessions of 1 hr each spanning 2 talks / session is to be planned and so 12 topics are to be decided upon out of all the proposed lectures.
4. Dr Kapil elaborated about the 1st national ISA Cricket Tournament planned from 7:30 am to 6 pm on 15/2/25.
5. The house discussed the already made arrangements like booking of the ground, accommodation, time and volunteers and requested the rest of the members to look for contacts to arrange for the clothes, trophies etc.
6. A decision was made to appoint a ground man to organise the matches.
7. The matches will be followed by a banquet dinner.
8. The next day CME will begin with flag hosting at 8:30 AM followed by the CME program from 9 am to 5 pm
9. Discussion regarding sponsors and financial matters for the successful conduct of the CME.
10. Dr Sameer discussed the recent proposal of implementing annual additional charges of Rs 1000 to be deposited by all members starting from 1/1/2025 and a waiver of Rs 500 for those who deposit the amount along with the CME registration amount.
11. A Poster/ paper presentation session will be carried out in a parallel Hall at the conference venue.
12. Dr. Sameer informed about 3 different venues that have been booked for the accommodation along with arrangements made for pick and drop facilities.

The meeting was concluded after a high team and informal exchanges.
