Description

The meeting was called on the request of Organizing Committee UP ISACON 2022 to have interaction between organizing committee with Sr Eminent Anesthesiologist , Patrons and Office bearers of UP ISA.

1. Meeting was attended by following membersDr L D Mishra, Dr JP Singh, Dr Deepak Malviya , Dr Brig T Prabhakar, Dr Anil Agarwal, Dr Virendra Sharma-National Treasurer, Dr Anil Kumar Verma- President UP ISA, Dr Apurva Agarwal- Hon Secretary UP ISA, Dr Syed Moed Ahmad- President Elect UP ISA, Dr Tanmay Tiwari - LKO, Dr R K Bhaskar- Bareilly; and members of Noida ISADr Kapil Singhal, Peeyush Chaudhary, Dr Mukul Kumar Jain, Dr Deepak Thapa Dr Poonam Motiani.

2. Meeting was started by Dr Kapil Singhal with a welcome address to all the dignitaries, Sr Anesthesiologist, National and State office bearers. After welcoming all the guest, meeting was handed over to Hon Secretary UP ISA Dr Apurva Agarwal.

3. Dr Apurva started with a welcome address to all and apprised everyone about the progress of ISA Noida Gautam Buddh Nagar branch. It was also announced by him, that Noida Gautam Buddh Nagar branch has also been given opportunity to organise ISA sponsored CME, date for which has been decided- 8th May 2022 after due discussion and permission from Hon Secretary ISA NationalDr Naveen Malhotra. It was also discussed and decided to have mid-term UP council meeting along with ISA sponsored CME. Dr Virendra Sharma and Dr Apurva told the organizers about the preparation for sponsored CME as well as mid-term UP council meeting and handed over the meeting to Dr Kapil Singhal again.

4.Dr Kapil Singhal, did a formal introduction of organizing committee members with all the dignitaries present in the meeting. A brief report about the progress of Noida Gautam Buddh Nagar branch within one year of its Inception was shared with everyone and it was greeted with a round of applause from all resent. Preparation for UP ISACON2022 was shared with everyone which included but is not limited to followingFinalizing of the date Details of Venue, Website, preparation and readiness.

5. Dr Deepak Malviya and Dr Brig T Prabhakar were requested to officially launch the website. Website was launched by both of them and it was much appreciated.

6. Doctor Deepak Malviya Sir pointed out the need to include the names of all national office bearers on the website and the point was noted.

7. Amount for the registration fee for workshop and conference was discussed, Dr Virendra Sharma Sir led the discussion with all the members present and allowed the organizing committee to raise the amount from 15 to 20% as compared to the last conference. It was also discussed that registration fees has to be different for PGs, delegates, members, non-members; early bird concession and other differences as per time periods, has also to be kept in mind.

8. Dr L D Mishra ,Sir Dr G P Singh Sir and Dr Anil Agarwal Sir stressed upon increasing the number of participation by having quality scientific sessions from eminent faculty all across the country.

9. It was emphasized to keep around 65- to 70% of the faculty from UP; not only from Medical Colleges but also from private practitioners. Remaining faculty can be from other parts of the country like Delhi NCR and International faculty.

10. Dr Apurva Agarwal reminded organizing committee to contact and send invite to all branch office bearers of UP, Uttrakhand and nearby areas.

11. Dr Virendra Sharma and Dr Apurva Agarwal also shared the experience of last year annual conference of UP state held at Varanasi. It was emphasized to have quality workshops and scientific sessions to increase the number of participation. Details about the conference venue including the facility for stay in the venue and near the venue was also shared.

12. Dr Sameer also clarified the requirements for applying GST No. for conference account.

13. Dr. Syed Moed explained in detail regarding the various registration slots for PGs to delegates to faculty, members and non-members, early birds and difference as per the time zone. Dr Virendra Sharma and Dr Syed Moed also clarified that all the participants for awarded sessions must have registration not only for conference and workshop but also they should be a member of National ISA.

14. It was clarified to the organizers to have minimal registration fee from amount of rupees 500 1000 for sponsored CME.

15. Dr Tanmay Tiwari also share his views on how to increase the number of participation and assured his full cooperation.

16. Dr Peeyush Chaudhary expressed his gratitude towards the seniors and state office bearers for sparing their valuable time.

17. Dr Mukul Jain assured the esteemed members that points have been noted and due deliberation will be done keeping all the points discussed in mind.
